Child Safety Standards & CSAM Zero-Tolerance Policy
Lovio maintains an absolute, unconditional zero-tolerance policy against Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM), Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (CSAE), underage grooming, or any depiction of minors:
Any account belonging to or depicting a minor is permanently banned immediately upon detection.
All instances of CSAM are reported immediately to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and law enforcement.
Hardware device fingerprints and cryptographic hashes of banned accounts are permanently blacklisted.
Eligibility & Age Requirement
By downloading, installing, registering for, or using LOVIO — Meet. Match. Connect. (Package: com.pst.lovio), you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years of age (or the age of legal majority in your country of residence).
- You have never been convicted of a felony, sex crime, or violent offense.
- You are not a registered sex offender in any state, federal, or national jurisdiction.
- You have not previously been banned or removed from Lovio for violations of our terms or community safety policies.
Community Standards for Safe Dating
Lovio is built on respect, kindness, and authentic human connection. To maintain a safe environment, you strictly agree NOT to:
Sending abusive messages, hate speech, threats, intimidation, stalking, defamation, or unsolicited explicit imagery is strictly prohibited.
You must upload genuine photos of yourself. Catfishing, using photos of celebrities, other people, or creating accounts on behalf of someone else will result in an immediate ban.
You may not promote commercial businesses, affiliate links, solicit money or donations, advertise escort services, or conduct pyramid schemes.
You may not use bots, crawlers, automated swipe scripts, or extract user photos and message data from Lovio’s network.
Rules for Moments, Calls, Polls & Speed Dating
Users are permitted to share up to 5 Moments per calendar day. Moments remain active for 24 hours before automatic TTL deletion. All moments are subject to community guidelines; uploading graphic nudity, violence, or promotional ads to Moments is forbidden.
Blind chat participants must treat each other with respect. Either participant may leave the session at any moment. Obscene conduct or verbal harassment during blind chat will result in immediate profile suspension upon report.
Real-time video and audio calling via Agora RTC requires consent from both matched parties. Displaying nudity, performing sexual acts, or recording the other participant without their explicit consent is grounds for immediate, permanent account termination.
Virtual Currency & Premium Memberships
Lovio may offer virtual currency (“Lovio Coins”) and premium subscription packages (“VIP”, “Gold”, “Boosts”):
- Virtual Coins: Coins are virtual items with no monetary value outside Lovio. Coins cannot be redeemed, refunded, or exchanged for real money, cryptocurrency, or goods.
- Subscription Billing: Subscriptions purchased through Google Play In-App Billing or PayU automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing cycle.
- Managing Subscriptions: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Google Play account (Google Play Store > Profile > Payments & Subscriptions > Subscriptions).
- Refund Policy: All purchases are final and non-refundable, except as required by applicable laws or Google Play Store refund policies. Deleting your account will forfeit any unused coin balance or active subscription days.
Safe Dating Guidelines
While Lovio provides in-app moderation and reporting tools, Lovio does not perform background checks or verify the criminal history of its users. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other members:
For your first few dates, always meet in populated public venues (cafes, restaurants). Never meet at a private residence or secluded location.
Never send money, wire transfers, crypto, or gift cards to someone you met online, regardless of their emergency story. Report anyone who asks for funds immediately.
Tell someone close to you where you are going, who you are meeting, and when you expect to return.
Use Lovio’s in-app video call before meeting in person to confirm that your match looks like their profile pictures.
Immediate Block & Report Mechanisms
In compliance with Google Play Developer Policy and Apple App Store Review Guideline 1.2 (User Generated Content):
- Users can block or report any profile, moment, or chat conversation instantly by tapping the Flag / Report (3-dots) menu.
- Once blocked, the user can no longer contact you, view your profile, or appear in your recommendations.
- Reported accounts are reviewed by human safety moderators within 24 hours. Accounts found in violation will be suspended or permanently terminated.
Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal claim or dispute arising out of or related to Lovio shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Punjab, India.
