Method 1 (Instant): Steps to Delete from Inside Lovio App

Instant In-App Deletion (5 Easy Steps)

If you have the Lovio app installed on your Android device, you can delete your account immediately in under 30 seconds:

Open the Lovio application on your mobile phone.

Tap the Profile tab in the bottom right corner of the navigation bar.

Tap the Settings icon (gear icon) in the upper corner.

Scroll down to the Account & Safety section and select Delete Account.

Confirm your choice by tapping Confirm Permanent Deletion. Your account, profile photos, matches, and chats are instantly and irreversibly deleted from our live databases.

Method 2 (No App Required): Submit Web Deletion Request

What Happens to Your Data Upon Deletion?

Data Permanently Purged Immediately

Profile Details: Name, phone number, email, birthdate, bio, gender, orientation, lifestyle tags, and dating preferences.
Cloud Photos & Media: All profile photos, Moments, AMA photos, and gallery shares stored on Cloudflare R2 are deleted immediately.
Social Graph: All mutual matches, incoming/outgoing likes, passes, blocks, and reports.
Chat History: All private direct messages, voice notes, and ephemeral speed dating chat sessions.
Device Identifiers: Firebase FCM push notification tokens, socket session mappings, and cached GPS location data.

Legally Mandated Retention Exceptions

Financial & Tax Records: In accordance with statutory Indian taxation laws (GST Act) and financial regulations, transaction IDs and invoice amounts are retained for accounting audits (up to 7 years), completely separated from your social identity.
Safety Blacklist Hashes: If an account was previously banned for severe safety violations (e.g. CSAM, extortion, violent threats), an irreversible cryptographic hash (SHA-256) of the phone number is retained to prevent the offender from rejoining.
Disaster Recovery Backups: System-wide database backups are purged automatically within standard 30-day rotation cycles.
